On any given shift, law enforcement officers may encounter persons exhibiting confused behavior, an inability to communicate, or a variety of behaviors inappropriate to time and place. In some cases these episodes will be the result of seizures. While the overwhelming majority of law enforcement personnel do an outstanding job recognizing and handling citizens experiencing seizures, in limited cases they may respond with inappropriate force to behaviors associated with seizures, especially complex partial seizures. The purpose of DVD is to assist emergency and law enforcement personnel on appropriate seizure recognition and response. Run time: 12 minutes.
