This DVD is designed to improve the understanding of epilepsy for teachers, administrators, and other school personnel.
Seizures in School: Understanding and Assisting Students with Epilepsy is an updated version of Seizure Disorders in the School, Parts I & II, that combines learning about epilepsy in an elementary or secondary setting. The DVD shows actual seizures in children and adolescents, describes first aid and management in the classroom, stresses the importance of early recognition, and discusses stigma and bullying and its impact on students with seizures. The DVD also details how epilepsy may affect learning and how the teacher can make the school experience a positive one.
Please note: If you own the Seizure Disorders in the Schools
